🎄Espero que hayan pasado una muy feliz navidad, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un poco de lo que fue la preparación de las Deliciosas hallacas en casa de mi abuela. Uno de los platos típicos de la gastronomía venezolana especialmente en la época decembrina.

Luego de tener a la mano todos los ingredientes, la harina, los aliños, condimentos, la carne, aceitunas, alcaparras y pasas. Aceite, Onoto, Hilo pabilo, las Hojas de plátanos. Entre otros menesteres, Iniciamos. 😍
After having all the ingredients at hand, the flour, seasonings, condiments, meat, olives, capers and raisins. Oil, Onoto, thread wick, banana leaves. Among other things, we started. 😍
Cada miembro de la familia, desde los niños hasta los mayores, tiene asignada una tarea para la importante labor. En mi familia, mi abuela lleva la delantera; ella es la encargada de hacer el guiso y velar por su preparación hasta que esté listo.
Each member of the family, from the children to the eldest, has an assigned task for the important work. In my family, my grandmother takes the lead; she is in charge of making the stew and watching over its preparation until it is ready.
Mi abuela Siempre prepara el guiso un día antes para tenerlo frío a la hora de armar las hallacas. El guiso lo hace con carne de res, cerdo y pollo. Alcaparras, pasas, aceitunas y suficiente aliños picados en cubitos pequeños.
My grandmother always prepares the stew the day before to have it cold when it is time to make the hallacas. She makes the stew with beef, pork and chicken. Capers, raisins, olives and enough seasoning chopped in small cubes.
La masa se prepara con harina pan, caldo de pollo, se le agrega sal y un poco de onoto para darle el característico color amarillo. Las hojas se lavan muy bien, se cortan y se dividen las más grandes para envolver las hallacas y las más pequeñas para los bollos.
The dough is prepared with flour, bread, chicken broth, salt and a little onoto to give it the characteristic yellow color. The leaves are washed very well, cut and the larger ones are divided to wrap the hallacas and the smaller ones for the buns.
Nos ponemos en marcha para armar nuestra hallacas y envolverlas y con el guiso que si te hacemos bollos picantes y no picantes.
We set out to assemble our hallacas andywrap them and with the stew we make spicy and non-spicy buns.
Sinceramente no hay nada amas delicioso que las hallacas de mi abuela y mi madre. Esta es una tradición hermosa, que pese a las adversidades y humildemente nunca dejamos de hacer.
Honestly, there is nothing more delicious than my grandmother's and my mother's hallacas. This is a beautiful tradition, that despite the adversities and humbly we never stop doing it.
Lo más bonito de estas fechas es eso: tener tiempo para los tuyos, reírnos juntos, asimilar todo lo que nos pasó en el año y agradecer a Dios que aquí seguimos.
The most beautiful thing about these dates is that: having time for your loved ones, laughing together, assimilating everything that happened during the year and thanking God that we are still here.
Para concluir, cada país tiene una tradición en Venezuela esta es la más esperada del Año. Sin más que agregar, Feliz Navidad y próspero año nuevo a todos.
