Today i will be sharing catfish soup recipe , its simple and easy to prepare.
INGREDIENTS:
Catfish
1 big Onion
3 habanero peppers
5 tsb of Palmoil or as desired
A pinch of Salt to taste
3 Seasoning cubes
Blender
PROCEDURE:
Always ensure that your hands are properly washed and every untensil you will be using are neat.
STEP 1:
Wash the catfish in lukewarm water with a pinch of salt, then rinse completely. Wash till it's no longer slimy.
STEP 2 :
Mix the pepper and onions; I don't want a smooth mix, so I used a manual blender to achieve the desired consistency.
STEP 3 :
Heat the pot over medium heat, then pour in the palm oil and let it bleach for a bit. Add the sliced onion and let it fry for a while. Don't leave it for too long, so it doesn't burn and leave a bitter taste.
STEP 4 :
Put the catfish into the hot oil, wait a few seconds, and then add a little water. Pour the mixed peppers and onions. Mix in the seasoning cube and a pinch of salt. Cover the pot and allow it to simmer for a few minutes.
The soup is ready ๐๐.
