Hi Liketu,

Ready for the most delicious yet healthy banana bread recipe out there?

I'm currently in the midst of a health kick but still get those sweet cravings. I wanted to bake my own treat, which I know has next to no additives and is low in sugars.

This was beyond delicious, not too sweet but hit the cravings for sure.

  1. I started off making a coffee because I wouldn't be much use to anyone without the caffeine hit!

  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F and butter an 8x4 loaf pan. (I used minimal butter here, just enough to prevent any sticking.)

  3. Mash 3 overripe bananas and mix with 1/5 cup of butter.

  4. Mix in 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 whisked egg, 1 pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons of cinnamon, and 1 1/2 cups of flour.

  5. Stir thoroughly and pour into your loaf pan.

  6. Bake for 55 minutes at 350°F.

  7. Easy as that! Now cool and serve!

I have one problem with this recipe... I should have doubled the ingredients since it was demolished in 3 days!!

Enjoy!

Love. Lindsay x
