Nikki Cook today is one of the local dishes name Banh Xeo (Vietnamese Pancake)
Ingredients:
- Rice Flour: add salt, turmeric powder
- 50ml of coconut milk.
- Sliced spring onion and chopped scallions
- Minced beef, marinated with some spices like oil, garlic, pepper.
- 100 grams of shrimp then marinated spices.
- Sprout
Mixed them well and leave it for 30 minutes.
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan
- Pour the thin layer of mixed rice flour water
- Close the lid for 30 seconds to cook the dough
- Then add shrimp, meat and some bean sprouts on top.
- Continue to cover the lid for about 2 minutes until the cake gets crispy
- Display on the plate
.Make the sour and sweet fish sauce:
- 1 teaspoon sugar & boiling water
- Minced fresh chilli
- Crushed garlic
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
The Central Vietnamese pancakes are served with mixed vegetables and rice paper rolls. Mixed vegetables: Herbs (perilla, cilantro, pineapple), green cabbage, sprouts, cucumber, green mango.
Yum Yum. Now we can enjoy it.
