Hello loving Foodie community
What's up my dear Hivers? I know everything are OK for you in this difficult time staying home or work place with doing interesting tasks. Yesterday night I have received one of freshwater species of catfish from my friend. I thankful to him and brought home. My wife don't like to eat freshwater fish dishes but she agreed to give support for prepare since our kitchen. She most like to seafood meals. But freshwater fish has so many healthy benefits than seafoods. Yesterday night I washed fish clearly from the water. Usually many people prepare fish dishes like as spicy curry. But we decided to prepare from different way. So we prepared it using consered cocnut milk and melted cocnut milk.
Ingredients
- 250 g of freshwater catfish
- Chopped garlic
- Chopped onion
- Chopped green chillies
- Chopped curry leaves and rampe leaves
- Chopped tomato
- Half a teaspoon of chili powder
- One and a half teaspoons of curry powder
- Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder
- Required amount of salt
- Two pulp of dried Garcinia
- A few pieces of cinnamon
- Half cup of melted coconut milk
- One and half cups of consered cocnut milk
Preparing steps
- *Wash the fish thoroughly several times with clean water and cut into small pieces.
- Take a pan and place it on the stove. Add cinnamon sticks, chilli powder, curry powder, turmeric powder and salt.
- Now add chopped garlic, chopped onion, chopped green chillies and chopped curry leaves and rampe leaves.
- Pour one and a half cups of consered coconut milk into it.
- Then add the two dried Garcinia pulp.
- Now add the chopped fish pieces to the mixture. Let the fish boil for a while. Then add half a cup of melted coconut milk and mix the mixture well. Once well boiled, remove from the heat. Put it in a dish and place the tomato pieces on top.
After few minutes later, we ate delicious and little bit spicy freshwater catfish curry with rice. You can trying out if you like to eat freshwater fish. Also if you need to like for it because someone only like to seafoods not to freshwater fish dishes.
