That salad looks delicious and i know that the satisfaction of knowing it was with vegetables grown by yourself makes it even more delicious.

Something I like about planting lettuce is that you can remove a couple of leaves and leave the rest still in the ground and it will continue to grow, it is a very grateful plant.

It sure does feel good to grow food to eat. Its the fruit of labor.. lol

So true, this is our first time growing lettuce. So hopefully we did not cut off too much. Hopefully it will grow back.

but this is other vegetable that also grow back really fast and it is really good to have on your garden!!

it is delicious with soup and salads!

its scientific name is Allium schoenoprasum so you can research it

Ah yeah those are spring onions, we season meals with them. Though I prefer the root bulb but the greens are still nice.

Yeahh but cool thing about these spring onions is that you can cut it and they will grow again! i used to have a lot of these!
