Simple recipe: Cheese sweet potato balls

Good evening cool Hive friends who have inspired me a lot in making simple preparations but have a cool appearance, even though I can't be like you yet I keep trying to be even better starting in terms of cooking, plating and from in terms of cooking, where I am now starting to reduce my consumption of sugar and rice as staple food for us Asians, especially Indonesians.



However, one thing that I haven't been able to avoid is fried food, even though I have reduced the amount of consuming it, but the habit of not consuming fried food is very difficult, even so, I try to make my own fried food with disposable and quality cooking oil, of course to avoid long-term effects. the length of use of this fry.



And tonight I'm going to share with you a simple home recipe that's not too sweet. The main ingredient in this home recipe is sweet potato. I have shared recipes from processed sweet potatoes several times, even so I am never bored and still innovating to get new recipes. Then another special reason is that there are many sweet potatoes in my yard so we can easily harvest these sweet potatoes at any time.



And next time I'm going to innovate with sweet potatoes, which is by mixing this sweet potato with cheese filling and I roll it with sesame seeds. And okay, so that you are not curious, I will share this very simple recipe with all of you. Don't skip and never get bored following my recipe, HIVE friends.



The main ingredient that I have to prepare to make this recipe is of course the sweet potato weighing 500 grams. Then I peel the sweet potato and wash it clean then cut it roughly then steam over medium heat for about 7-10 minutes. Then prepare 100 grams of sugar, 200 grams of flour, sesame seeds as a sprinkling, and grated cheese as a filling and don't forget to prepare cooking oil for frying later.



The way to make it as a first step is after the sweet potato has finished steaming then remove it and while it is still hot the sweet potato is mashed using a spoon or the bottom of a glass, after that add the sugar and flour. And stir until all the ingredients are well blended after that make balls or small balls then fill with enough grated cheese, and so on until all the dough is used up after that we roll the finished sweet potato balls into the water and then we roll them into the sesame seeds so that the sesame seeds can stick to the dough.



After everything is covered in sesame seeds, fry the sweet potato balls filled with cheese in the cooking oil that has been heated over low heat so they don't burn. Fry until brown and remove. Then the sweet potato balls filled with cheese are ready to be enjoyed, you can also replace the cheese filling with any other filling you want. Enjoy trying my recipe. The sweet potato ball, it contain the very healthy ingredients, which is really a good snack to have during the day.

It actually remind me of my grandma that she makes amazing cookies like similar like this, potatoes ball. I always look forward to dessert when I go to her house because I used to smell the good aroma when I go to her kitchen.

It is difficult to reduce sugar consumption, as for rice I have been able to make some progress. Thanks for sharing your recipe, it looks delicious.
