It is sad that I had to take them down, I was not ready for the harvest because some are still green, but I had no choice but harvest them. We are travelling in a few days so I need to clean my container plants. The cherry tomatoes in the below image are now gone. I have had two pots of them and I was excited harvesting them because of the quantity I finally gathered. In the course of their growing, I always picked the ripe ones and either I used those for salads or for my oven roasted garlic tomatoes.
This pepper plant continued to grow and even got new buds and flowers, but the growing season is done and we now have chilly nights and the frost could start anytime.
This is one of the growing newbies... I had to say goodbye (lol!) to it. Until next growing season, I will surely plant a couple of this variety.
What to do with my harvest? I plan to stuff them with ground beef and cheese. And I will do that in my next post.
This is how the potted pepper bush looks now after the cutting. I had to discard this when I comeback in Spring because it will die off in winter. I could conclude that container gardening is fun to do no matter how small your space is. The most important thing if you love gardening is , the value of sowing your seeds and watch them grow. Harvest the fruit of your labor and include them as ingredients in your cooking!
I was already imagining of the chili stuffed with ground beef! LOL. Kalami!
Soon dear.... busy kaayo but I will do it! Thanks for dropping-by.
True, if you grow your own food on the table, there is some feeling of contentment and proud of your self.
Waiting for your next recipe post.
If I only live in the province there, I could plant so many things. But here, I can only grow in containers, even before that I had a garden, I still planted my veggies on the top terrace because of the slugs. Yeah, coming soon Jude. Thanks!

Lol, thanks my dear.. Garden garden pa more... I would like to see them growing.. Thanks and cheerssss!
My parents taught me to grow the plants I enjoy eating. Now we have a small farm in Bohol. This reminds me of my hometown. I miss everything there. Now im living in a condo in cebu city. I dont have any plants except for some cacti and a dwarf snakeplant. It would be nice to have some cherry tomatoea and pepper in here hehe
You could do that even if you live in a condo, simply choose a dwarf cherry tomatoes available in the garden center, they grow up to about 60 cm and that would be an addition to your home decor....Your baby might eat all of its fruits....hahaha.
I was actually looking for seeds gor cherry tomatoes since last month but still havent found one hehe i’ll jusy probably order online hehe
O yes! this is so good for the dynamite stuffed with ground meat and cheese sticks along with beers in the veranda, thanks for bringing back my appetite hahaha...
