PANCIT CANTOON
May I make a request? Which meal is your favorite? Please let me know. In today's blog, I want to share with you all my favorite food that my mom always buys me. Every morning when I wake up, I ask her what we're having for breakfast, and she always says, "Pancit Cantoon." This makes me happy, so I say thank you to her for that.
Since I am a total mama's girl, she will naturally buy me anything I want as long as we have money. I am grateful that she is my mother, even though there are moments when I know she loves me and that I love my parents as well. We are not wealthy, but they did everything in their power to give me what I wanted and to make sure I could enjoy the things they gave me and the sacrifices they made for me sooner rather than later. Alright, back to the topic of why Pancit Cantoon is one of my favorites: because of its spicy flavor (yes, there is a non-spicy flavor as well).
I used to think that pancit canton was too spicy, so when I was a child, my mom would ask, "Why don't you like it when your dad and I like it?" I would reply, "I don't always like it because it's not spicy." Pancit canton was also my favorite, so now that I'm a girl, I wonder why. I cook pancit canton every day because my parents work and don't have time to prepare other meals. This is why it has remained my favorite dish to this day.

I was hungry when I saw a myday pancit canton with egg on Facebook Stories. As I watched, I realized that I had also eaten pancit canton this morning, but it had not had an egg mixed in. I decided to make pancit canton with egg tonight because I know how to cook it. Later, I saw you on myday on Facebook friends.

You have taught me a great deal, especially about positive things. It was you who gave me life. From the time I came out until I opened my eyes, both of you gave me never ending love and unconditional. It is you who protect and guide. Ma, Pa you are my role model and I idolize you most because you do your best just to provide our needs, you work hard just because you want me and my siblings to be educated and successful someday. I idolize you because of your sacrifices made in order for us to survive.

I apologize for causing you stress at times because I can be so stubborn at times. To my Papa Artemio Thank you for always guiding me and supporting me.I understand that you're exhausted 😔, and despite the criticism from others about your decision to pursue financial success, you chose to keep your hurts hidden 😭 They will regret what they said. You and Mama are the sources of my strength and inspiration. I never feel like life is hopeless because I know you will always be there to support me.
You are the greatest father anyone could ask for, Pa, and I love you so much. To be really honest with you, Pa, you are my real hero. I could never be the person I am now without you. I know I can never express how much I appreciate your support and ability to make me feel like your little princess, no matter how old I become 😂. Thank you for always being there for the family and for me. ❤️ You have our undying love and gratitude, Pa.
