We were so worn out after such a stressful week, and we all agreed it should be time to have our energy to be recharged.
All of my family members had different suggestions, but they ultimately decided on a prepared meal with a variety of foods. More specifically, it was a feast of meat on the rooftop. Perhaps, we were all so excited that we worked so hard on the preparation, and the amount of food ended up being more than enough. Looking at the picture, you may not believe that it was only for only 8 of us, lol.
As usual, I prepared my all-time favourite tuna salad. This time, I added more veggies such as onions and corn besides tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuces. Indeed, it was a good match, and everyone enjoyed it very much.
My cousin prepared a big bamboo tray of pork processed into different dished and served with mắm tôm (shrimp paste) while other male members were in charge of the barbecue with octopus, goat meat and oyster.
We had a happy night, spending quality time together, and of course, a stomach filled with food.
