CHOCOLATE BOMBS (ESP/ENG)

Greetings As we all love sweets and even more if it is chocolate, here I share with you this delicious recipe for chocolate bombs, it is a fried round bread filled with cream, in this case chocolate, coated with sugar.

Saludos Como a todos nos encanta el dulce y aún más si se trata de chocolate, aquí les comparto esta rica receta de bombas de chocolate, se trata de un pan redondo frito relleno de crema, en este caso chocolate, rebozado de azúcar.

In a previous post I shared with you the chocolate cream recipe which is the same one I will be using for these bombs.

As for the filling we can also use arequipe, pastry cream, Chantilly, caramel cream and why not you can also add fruits.

Ingredients
_To activate the yeast
1 tablespoon of yeast
½ tbsp. wheat flour
½ tbsp. sugar
100 ml. of warm water

**For the dough
500gr whole wheat flour
100gr sugar
100gr butter
Grated orange zest
Vanilla essence
200 ml of water
100 gr of sugar to coat the bombs

For the chocolate cream
4 tablespoons of cocoa.
3 tablespoons of cornstarch.
8 tablespoons of sugar or 100 gr.
60 grs. of butter.
150 ml. of coffee.
Pinch of salt.

En un post anterior les compartí la receta de la crema de chocolate que es la misma que estaré utilizando para estas bombas.

En cuanto a el relleno también podemos utilizar arequipe, crema pastelera, Chantilly, crema de caramelo y porqué no también le puedes agregar frutas.

Ingredientes
Para activar la levadura
1 cda. de Levadura
½ cda. de harina de trigo
½ cda. de azúcar
100 ml. de agua tibia

Para la masa
500gr de harina de trigo todo
100gr de azúcar
100gr de mantequilla
Ralladura de naranja
Esencia de vainilla
200ml de agua
100 gr de azúcar para rebozar las bomba

Para la crema de chocolate
4 cucharadas de cacao.
3 cdas. de Maizena o almidón de maíz.
8 cdas. de azúcar o 100 gr.
60 grs. de mantequilla.
150 ml. de café.
Pizca de sal.

We will begin by activating the yeast, in a small bowl add the sugar, yeast, wheat flour and warm water, stir a little, cover and set aside for about 5 to 10 minutes until it fluffs up, then we will know that our yeast is perfect for use.

Comenzaremos activando la levadura, en un recipiente pequeño agregamos el azúcar, la levadura, la harina de trigo y el agua tibia, movemos un poco tapamos y reservamos por unos 5 a 10 minutos hasta que esponje ahí sabremos que nuestra levadura está perfecta para utilizarla.

In another bowl add the previously sifted flour, sugar, butter, orange zest, vanilla, water and active yeast.

With well-cleaned hands we join the ingredients and we will notice how the dough is formed, until we obtain a uniform and smooth dough.

En otro recipiente agregamos la harina previamente cernida, el azúcar, la mantequilla, la ralladura de naranja, la vainilla, el agua y la levadura ya activa.

Con las manos bien limpias unimos los ingredientes y notaremos cómo se forma la masa, hasta obtener una masa uniforme y suave.

Form a roll to help you cut the portions of dough to form the bombs, I formed them of about 50gr since they will be mini bombs, once cut create the bombs and let them rest for 40 minutes to 1 hour.

Proceed to fry in abundant oil previously hot, being careful not to burn them as they will be ready very quickly, for this we must fry them with a medium flame.

Forma un rollo para ayudarte a cortar las porciones de masa para formar las bombas, yo las formó de unos 50gr ya que serán mini bombas, una vez cortadas crea las bombas y las deja reposar por 40 minutos a 1 hora.

Procedemos a freír en abundante aceite previamente caliente, teniendo cuidado de que no se quemen ya que estarán listas muy rápido, para ello debemos freírlas con la llama medía.

To prepare the filling, add all the ingredients in a pot, place on the stove over medium heat and with the help of a balloon whisk stir constantly until it starts to boil, continue stirring for another minute and remove and cool.

Once our bombs are fried and our filling is ready, we open them with the help of a kitchen scissors or a knife and proceed to coat them with sugar.

Para preparar el relleno agregamos todos los integrantes en una olla, llevamos a la estufa a fuego medio y con la ayuda de un batidor de globo movemos constantemente hasta que comience a hervir seguimos moviendo por un minuto más y retiramos y enfriamos.

Una vez fritas nuestras bombas y con nuestro relleno listo, las abrimos con la ayuda de una tijera de cocina o un cuchillo y procedemos a rebozar con el azúcar.

Once battered, we fill the bombs with our chocolate cream and they are ready to eat, they are a delight that is really worth preparing.

Ya rebozadas, rellenamos las bombas con nuestra crema de chocolate y listas para comer, son una delicia que de verdad vale la pena preparar.
