RE: Mushroom Garlic Soup Recipe

in Foodies Bee Hive2 years ago

All right sir! So this! This is another level! There is one saying something like this "the novice beats his master". Well, that would be the case here. Your recipe is a lot grater than my basic one. I love the roasting before and I agree that the method changes the whole flavor, giving the soup an intense delicious flavor. I've seen this before but didnt pay attention. I thought its to much time consuming for me and mom life. 🤔🤔😅😅😅 but its not that much, I think it was me the problem.

I live to add carrots as well, but not much. And I agree on being versatile and easy to swap some ingredients. I love how you described every step and all the tips given. Especially how to clean the mushrooms. I also dont wash them, if thats possible.
Here in romania we can find in markets when in season forest mushrooms picked by the people, and those can be quite dirty..

Anyways, I'm glad you found a recipe to your taste! The mushroom slices on top are 👏👏.

With work and parenting its often best to simplify things in the kitchen to save time. The roasting part is that way I think. Though, if it's done in tandem with some other steps it doesn't take too much additional time. But then again, it does create more dishes to clean, which is a drawback lol.

I started making the soup regularly after you posted your recipe and we really enjoy it. So thanks for that 😁👍

I'm guessing the roasting part isnt that much, even for me. But as you said, more dishes, more steps. When you have a 4 year old around, these little things look huge.
But it depends really. Somedays I'm more busy or stressed out, and other days I'm more relaxed and time wouldt be a problem. but for sure I'll try this myself, your tips and tricks I mean.
I'm happy that you began making a mushroom cream soup recipe after seeing mine and knowing that you guys enjoy it and became a regular recipe in your kitchen, it feels nice. Finally, one of my posts got a meaning! LOL.

Take care and stay healthy! 😊

Keeping things simple when you have kids makes a lot of sense. So many other ways to spend ones time than extra cooking steps haha. Save roasting mushrooms for a very slow and relaxed day.

Finally, one of my posts got a meaning! LOL.

I know the feeling. Im still waiting for somwone to like my Head cheese recipe...

😅😂

Well, I know the recipe. But what I dont understand is why is it called Head cheese? 😁 could be for the fact that it's not runny, texture? Idk 😁😅

Haha I think it's because it's traditionally made from a pigs head and the consistency is close to cheese. That's just a guess. I really have no idea. 😂

I actually found the name being so so weird. 😅😅

Yeah I agree lol 😆
