After we got my husband's salary ,I went to the market to buy our needs.
My husband requested this green mussels when I went to the market to buy our needs.
And since he is a hardworking man ,he deserve to eat what's his request.

*Tahong or green mussels
The best recipe for this shell for me is the grilled one but then my husband wants it with soup ,so his wish is my command lol!
I also added one crab coz it's my son's favorite sea food.

First ,clean the green mussels or tahong in our dialect and removed all the first by scratching it with knife.

You will know if it's already cooked when the shell open itself.
While preparing this for our lunch ,suddenly we are running our of gas so I need to transfer it into the rice cooker since we don't have another electric stove.

When it cooked ,garnish with onion leaves and serve while it's hot.

For those whole doesn't know about this salted egg or itlog maalat ,it is colored with pink color to identify that it's a salted egg.
As I remember we make this when I was in highschool.
This egg is preserved with salt .On making the process ,it is put in the mud with a lot of salt but I forgot how many days is it in the mud with salt.
