My first time baking a cake

Cake is a sweet food created by mixing flour, sugar, butter, milk, egg, baking powder together.

We have different shapes of cake. They are; Round shape, heart shape, square shape e.t.c.

Cakes can be used for different occasions and purposes.
It can be used in a birthday party, wedding ceremony, and anniversary celebrations.
It can also be served at home as a snack.

Earlier today I learnt how to bake a cake for the first time and we baked a heart shape cake.
It was a fun experience.

Below are the recipes that were used;

Flour

Baking powder
Egg

*Butter

Vanilla flavor
Nutmeg
Sugar
Mixed fruits
Milk

Tools used were;

A big plastic bowl
Egg whisk
A mixer
A cake pan
An oven
Measuring cups
Grater

The following are the steps and procedures used to bake the cake;

Put your sugar and butter in an empty bowl and use your manual mixer to mix it together till it's fluffy.
In a separate bowl, sieve your flour, baking powder and grate your nutmeg.

Break your egg into another separate container and whisk.

Pour the whisked egg into the bowl of sugar and butter. Then mix it together.

Pour in the sieved flour and baking powder into this other bowl and mix it thoroughly.
You can still use your mixer.
Pour in your flavor and mixed fruit and mix it together.
After you're done mixing, you use flour to clean your cake pan.
Then you pour the batter into the cake pan.
Preheat your oven for some minutes, then you put in your cake pan.

Set the timer and be checking it to prevent it from getting burnt
When it is done you switch off the oven and bring it out with a cloth, then allow to cool.
