The togetherness of the family is one of the best gatherings that most of us truly aspire to. Eating together during a family meal is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will happen to us. This time, we set our mood into silence: the work, the weary, the gadgets, and the family problems. It is the perfect time to bond, be reunited and be happy.
We are out of town this time. We are staying for 3 days and 2 nights at one of the 5 stars hotels here in Cebu City, The Waterfront Hotel. Since we are a big family, our preference is to eat breakfast here at their famous restaurant, the UNO as this is located on the lower ground floor. This is easier and more convenient for us because we have children.
The UNO Restaurant of Waterfront Hotel
One of the factors that will allure the customer's satisfaction is the captivating ambiance or the setting. The outside is already cozy and surely attracts the customers to get in, dine, and will have fun.
The tables and chairs are well-arranged. They used a formal setup that is elegant and appealing to one's senses. The silverware, plates, and glasses are arranged orderly. These will be a plus factor for the customers to be tempted to dine here again and again.
The lights add vibrance to the atmosphere too and we can see the appearance of the foods. The presentation of their different courses is vivid to all the customers. The setting is pretty amazing that will truly satisfy the customer's needs.
The foods are displayed accordingly. They have been placed in clean and safe food containers with covers. The counters where these foods are displayed are cleanable and this is to ensure that sanitation is given top priority. They make sure that the foods are free from contamination.
The foods are categorized. They have been displayed according to the preparation: from bread and pastry, rice, viand, juices, hot drinks, cereals, children's fave, fruits, and desserts. Various kinds of foods are seen inside. We can choose which are our likes.
One way of expressing the love of the family is thru the fulfillment of the stomach. We are treated by my sister-in-law who is a citizen in the USA. She went home to the Philippines to take a break from her daily hustle and bustle and for the busy days working as a nurse. At this moment, she makes sure that we will not be hungry, and the satisfaction of our stomach is her concern.
This breakfast is buffet style, she paid 850 pesos to each one of us including the children. We are 20 family members and were full in this breakfast. However, I lost my appetite seeing plenty of food displayed. I only chose a vegetable and fruit salad. Actually, I'm on a diet.
RM instantly is changing her diet. Her intake of foods increased. And these are her choices: rice, veggie and fruit salad, bacon, ham, and hash brown.
My overall impression of UNO of Waterfront Hotel is, it is Highly Recommendable. All their foods are delicious and nutritious. Their service crews are accommodating and are wearing contagious smiles all the time. I love everything there.
We went back to our room afterward with a stomach full of contentment and satisfaction. We got a heavy breakfast and we're thankful for this great opportunity that will never be experienced by my family without the support of my generous sister-in-law.

It is delicious and the rest of them love the taste. There are plenty of foods displayed and they are all yummy.
Actually, it costs 1600 per head however we have rented 5 rooms, we were given discounts.
Php 1,600!?!?! So expensive for someone who walks in though. Well, hope I can afford someday.
This is unlimited day and you can eat everything that you like there.
