Easy garlic spread with carrot.

This pastry spread is our family tradition. It is very simple and consists of only four ingredients. You can also add grated hard cheese: parmesan, gouda or cheddar. Or something similar to your taste. It is ready in five minutes and tastes great.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 150 ml of mayonnaise
  • two cloves of garlic
  • carrot
  • salt
  • cheese (not necessary)

Step 1. We will use mayonnaise first. I recommend not too sweet, because carrots also have a sweet taste. I used 150 ml of mayonnaise. That's enough for about 8-10 servings.

Step 2. The second ingredient is garlic. Two cloves of garlic are enough for this amount of mayonnaise. If you are not planning a romantic evening, you can add more garlic. It is best to press the cloves, not to cut them. Garlic juice releases into the spread and it adds the right taste.

Step 3. Right after that, it's time for carrot. Carrot must be grated into the spread using a grater. It also depends on the size of the grated carrot pieces. Use the side of the grater shown in the illustration. The amount of carrot significantly changes the overall taste of the spread, so mix and taste continuously.

Step 4. Add salt.

If you like cheese, you can finally add grated hard cheese. We have an intolerance to milk, so we don't add cheese, but it's very tasty with it.
