Try to Make Kimchi

Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you are doing well. Recently, I made kimchi. Why did I make this? The first reason is to make it easier for me to eat vegetables. Some types of vegetables often wilt quickly and cannot last in the refrigerator. I made kimchi so that they last longer.

Second, kimchi can be used as a basic ingredient for cooking. I like kimchijigae, sundubu jigae and others. Moreover, instant noodles are cooked with kimchi. That's the right combination. If you make kimchi, it will definitely be cheaper and satisfying to enjoy.

I once bought Kimchi, about 500 grams. How many days can I finish it? Only two weeks. I thought, my kimchi consumption until the end of the month might be around 1 kilogram. So, I thought about making kimchi. What are the things needed to make kimchi?

How to make

  1. Wash the white cabbage thoroughly. Then cut it according to taste. After that, add salt. Let it sit until wilted.

  2. Blend the onion and garlic. Not too coarse and not too fine.

  3. Thicken the cornstarch. Set aside.

  4. After the cabbage is wilted, wash it thoroughly and drain. After the water is gone. Add cornstarch, garlic and onion that have been pureed. Also add sesame oil, fish oil and gochugaru.

  5. Stir all ingredients. I forgot, add spring onions according to taste.

  6. The kimchi I made did not add carrots. You can add carrots too.

  7. Let the cabbage sit for three days. After stirring evenly, I tried the kimchi. It tasted sweet from the white sugar. I like fresh kimchi.

  8. On the third day, I tried to make boiled meat and added kimchi. It turned out to be delicious, I didn't need to add any more seasoning. I made about one kilogram of kimchi. That's all the food story I made, see you in another story.
