Today my husband and I treated ourselves to a little trip, leaving in the afternoon towards a very pretty place with a magnificent medieval castle but before the trip we had a good Sunday lunch, a little richer than midweek lunches. For the occasion, I had already defrosted the chicken legs yesterday evening which I decided to cook differently than usual, with tomato and courgette flavour.
For this recipe you will need:
- 6 medium chicken thighs
- 100 grams of peeled tomatoes
- 2 medium courgettes
- 5 tablespoons of oregano
- 7 tablespoons of salt
- 8 tablespoons of oil
- slices of Tuscan bread to taste
First I preheated the oven to 200 and in the meantime I prepared the chicken, you need to place the thighs on a large, deep baking tray, then salt all the thighs a little with three tablespoons of salt, open the peeled tomatoes and sprinkle all the thighs with them, mixing the tomatoes and thighs, the peeled tomatoes usually make a lot of puree which will make the meat tastier.

Hoy mi marido y yo nos regalamos un pequeño viaje, saliendo por la tarde hacia un lugar muy bonito con un magnífico castillo medieval pero antes del viaje tomamos un buen almuerzo de domingo, un poco más rico que los almuerzos de entre semana. Para la ocasión, ayer por la tarde ya había descongelado los muslos de pollo y decidí cocinarlos de forma diferente a lo habitual, con sabor a tomate y calabacín.
Para esta receta necesitarás:
- 6 muslos de pollo medianos
- 100 gramos de tomates pelados
- 2 calabacines medianos
- 5 cucharadas de orégano
- 7 cucharadas de sal
- 8 cucharadas de aceite
- rebanadas de pan toscano al gusto
Primero precalenté el horno a 200 y mientras tanto preparé el pollo, hay que colocar los muslos en una bandeja de horno grande y honda, luego salar un poco todos los muslos con tres cucharadas de sal, abrir los tomates pelados y espolvorear con ellos todos los muslos, mezclando los tomates y los muslos, de los tomates pelados se suele hacer mucho puré lo que hará que la carne quede más sabrosa.
