What do you think when you see this picture, which must be red with a super crazy level of spiciness. Hehe it's true that sometimes spicy food makes stress disappear so occasionally you have to enjoy spicy dishes with savory flavors that are so tempting.




Mercon Meatballs

From the name alone you already know that this meatball must have a fantastic taste with original spicy from chili. Mercon meetball, as it is popularly called in my area these days, is sold as a street food that is very popular and loved by many people. As a spicy lover, I didn't hesitate at all to try this dish. But for the sake of stomach comfort I choose when my digestion is fine when consuming spicy dishes, of course accompanied by enjoying fruit afterwards.

Mercon meatballs are meatballs with chili sauce made from coarsely chopped chili peppers. The combination of other spices makes it spicy, but again this red chili does not taste over compared to other types of chili and has a brighter color so that even in large compositions the spiciness can still be accepted by your tongue.

Well you must be curious right, in processing this mercon spicy meatball, let's see the step by step preparation!




Ingredients Used

Main Ingredients


200 grams of chicken meatballs

6 chili peppers
3 lime leaves
1 lemongrass stem
½ onion
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon mushroom broth

Fine Seasoning


10 red chili peppers
5 cloves shallots
2 cloves garlic




Procedure For Making


Step 1


Blend the fine spices with a chopper well here chop roughly so that the spiciness is more flavorful.

Step 2


Cut or split the top of the meatballs, then the chilies, lime leaves, lemongrass, and onions have been prepared.

Step 3


Saute the onions and lemongrass then add the spices that have been in the chopper.

Step 4


Then add lime leaves, lemongrass and cayenne pepper, cook and add enough water.

Step 5


Let it boil then add the meatballs, cook a little longer so that it doesn't smell of chili, now when cooking mercon meatballs I am also cooking white curry meat.

Step 6


Then add salt, and jamuk broth, cook until the water shrinks.

Serve the mercon meatballs on a serving plate, look at the results so tempting me. It's spicy, savory and very delicious, perfect for relaxing and enjoying something that surprises you.

Ahh the atmosphere changed for the better with this dish, it really added to my mood which was initially mediocre to become more excited. I'm sure you'll sweat enjoying this, but it's good even though it's a bit spicy. But for those of you who are not spicy lovers I don't think you should try it because it will definitely not suit you.
