Savory snacks prepared with tempting flavors always make us happy when relaxing.
Easy to make with minimal ingredients, when I was hungry I started making snacks. A simple snack from small shrimps that I have in the freezer, I usually add small shrimps to vegetables. But today I want to make it different, namely a crispy fried snack that is sold on the side of the road.
This snack was inspired by street food some time ago, they added bean sprouts and cabbage. But here I added shrimp to strengthen the taste. Apart from that, the most unique thing is the way they fry it, they put the dough on a cutting board and then fry it. I think it's a creative technique, the liquid dough becomes elongated when put in cooking oil. Thanks to this inspiration, I will develop this recipe for all of you. Let's look below, step by step in the preparation.
Materials Used
50 grams of bean sprouts
100 grams of wheat flour
2 Spring onions
1 clove of garlic
1 spring onion
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon mushroom stock
¼ teaspoon ground pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
So you need to know that I only use the leaves, if you want the stems, that's fine too. One more thing, if you don't like frying in oil, you can also use your air fryer, to get crispier results at normal temperature.
Creation Procedure
Chop the spring onions and all the onions. Cut it finely so that it won't be visible in the mixture later.
Mix the flour with the shrimp, well for this I used small shrimp so I didn't throw away the tails.
Add the bean sprouts, then stir the mixture until evenly mixed.
Then add the chopped spring onions and also the chopped onions.
Season with salt and mushroom stock, ground pepper.
Also add garlic powder, then add water little by little. Mix well.
Take the dough, put it on a cutting board, take the long side, then fry it in hot oil.
The dough will fall lengthwise in the oil. Fry until brownish yellow and the texture is crispy. So just fry over low heat so that the mixture is cooked perfectly.
Results
Fried flour sprout shrimp are ready to be served with a dipping spicy sauce. The texture is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside adding an extraordinary taste sensation to this dish. Moreover, it tastes really delicious. I enjoy this as an afternoon snack at home.
Something unique happened, when I was taking pictures of the food I made, a dragonfly disturbed me, it sat happily on my serving bowl. Haha, very funny and adorable, it's natural that he came, I took a photo on the terrace in front of the room. Immediately, I was tired at first and wanted to immediately finish taking photos, but was stopped by a dragonfly.
