So spending time at home is of course the main thing we do to please our family. One of the best ways for us to do this is to serve delicious food at home.
Pliek U Curry Tuna Fish
Pliek u sauce or what is known as fermented coconut is a traditional ingredient that is quite popular in my area. So, you must be familiar with this dish because I have made it with my family using vegetables. However, this time I made it differently, I used tuna that was grilled first. Actually, I think the pliek sauce would be very delicious using this fish rather than using lots of mixed vegetables.
Hehe, maybe because this is my favorite, well, this recipe itself is a legacy from my mother. Here's the recipe!
Materials Needed
2 stalks lemongrass
3 lime leaves
3 green chilies
Softened Seasoning
1 candlenut
8 red onion cloves
12 cayenne peppers
50 grams of pliek u
7 cm turmeric
Cooking Procedure
Before making this dish, I first prepared the fish and grilled it in a grill pan. Don't bake it too hard, so that when cooked it doesn't have a tough texture.
Brew pliek u with enough hot water, soak for a while until the pliek u is destroyed.
Shred the grilled tuna into small pieces or according to your taste.
Cut the lemongrass into small pieces, chop until everything is finish.
Halve the green chilies, or you can also cut them into small pieces according to your taste.
Then finely chop the lime leaves, chop them finely so that the fragrance and taste of the lime leaves are evenly distributed in the sauce later.
Blend the ground spices with enough water, except the pliek u, grind them separately, make sure all the spices are perfectly ground.
Then continue with the pliek u blender by adding a little water.
Strain the pliek u and just take the juice, now when I cook fish pliek u I always strain it so that the texture of the sauce is creamier.
Put the ground spices in the cooking pan, then add the pliek u which has been in the blender.
Add the grilled fish that has been shredded then the lemongrass pieces, lime leaves and green chilies.
Turn on the stove and cook for a moment, then add liquid coconut milk.
Stir until evenly cooked until the sauce reduces and boils twice. Season with salt and don't forget to adjust the taste.
Results
The piliek u grilled cob sauce is ready to be enjoyed, I enjoyed it with warm white rice on a plate. Ahh, the aroma of the spices and sauce are so tempting, the natural spices of all these ingredients blend perfectly. This is a heavenly delight, a truly delicious dish. Not only is pliek u vegetable made from fish grilled first, it also has a spectacular taste.
