Hello steemit friends, how are you all, I hope you are all well, and on this occasion I want to share home-cooked food recipes with friends and the menu I want to share this time is jengkol rendang. I make the ingredients myself at home and I mix it myself.

Here are the materials needed:

  • 2 kg jengkol
  • 3 coconuts
  • salt and flavoring
  • galangal
  • lime leaves
  • lemongrass

Softened seasoning

  • 10 cloves of red onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 15 red chilies
  • one piece of ginger

All the ingredients are pureed, here I use a blender, after that I grate the coconut and immediately squeeze it, take the coconut milk, and put the coconut milk that has been squeezed into the pan then add the spices that have been ground earlier, don't forget to add the lemongrass that has been crushed, galangal, and shredded kaffir lime leaves.

Jengkol that has been peeled and then washed, after that heat the water, if the water is boiling add the jengkol that has been washed clean, if the jengkol is cooked remove it, and crush it so that it is easy to cook, then put it in the pan that has been given the spices and coconut milk earlier , stir constantly so that the coconut milk does not break, add salt and flavorings, cook over medium heat, stir until cooked, if it is cooked, correct the taste, and jengkol rendang is ready to be eaten with hot rice, very delicious.
