Free, fresh & tasty!!!
Years ago we planted some Goji Berry Bushes. At the moment we have both Korean and Chinese, with the Chinese Goji Berries being featured in this post. Right now the harvest is coming in heavy, and the plants are ripe with fruit. Also, the beautiful purple flowers are still blooming, which not only means more berries to come, but also "bee food" for the honeybees. We've been enjoying the fresh berries lately, but we've also been dehydrating some to store for the winter. Goji Berries are very tasty and healthy, and we're blessed to have this wonderful food growing in our homestead garden. They are one of those great perennial foods that keep coming back year after year, and producing more each year too! Have you ever eaten Goji Berries? If so, how'd you like them? Enjoy the pics!
