Hello everyone,
Today’s post is about milking the cows that I own at my farmhouse. I have two cows at my farmhouse. They need to be manually milked by hand as there are only two that are owned by us.
These cows apart from giving the milk, help us in many ways. As I own apple orchards, these orchard need manure that is made from cow dung. The grass grown in my orchards also gets consumed by these cows. So it’s a kind of give and take process.
These cows are very calm and they do not disturb while milking them. They only need something to eat while getting milked.
These are the tits of the cow that are still dry. A little bit of oil is required to get the milk out of them.
These cows need to have something to eat while getting milked otherwise they can also kick 😅
It requires a lot of effort to milk the cow. It isn’t as easy as it looks. Here’s my mother milking the cow.
We usually get around 15-20l of milk from these two cows. That is very good as these cows get proper diet.
Here’s the photograph of the fresh milk. Enjoy 🥰
This need to be boiled before consuming.
Thanks for passing by.
Love from Himalayas ❤️
