Everyone in the family will converse and share what happened during the day while eating together. And one of the things that helps people connect more is eating. What kind of food come to mind? Hot pot is the answer for me.
People will gather around each other to cook and eat hot pot at the same time when eating it, which is a wonderful food to strengthen family ties. Making this dish is simple; all you need to do is cook a hot pot. A mouthwatering pot of hot pot will stay in your memory forever.
I'll demonstrate how to make this dish at home for everyone today.
The following ingredients are used to make hot pot:
- Two tomatoes (cut into shape)
- One pineapple, sliced as shown
- One little citronella (cut into small pieces like the picture)

All that's left to do is wait for the soup to boil before adding sugar or salt to suit the tastes of everyone. Okra is a simple vegetable to cook. In the final stage, simply add the okra and turn off the heat to create a lovely pot of hot pot.
Next, are the ingredients to eat with hot pot:
- A few side dishes, such spinach and collard greens.
- Some meat and fresh seafood, such as fish, shrimp, squid, or other types of seafood, if you want.
- A bowl of noodles.
The way to eat this dish, you need an electric stove to put the hot pot on top, this helps the hot pot always stay hot, next everyone will eat together, if you like to eat something, People will put that kind of ingredient in the hot pot, wait for it to cook, then it can be eaten. When eating, we will put some vermicelli into the cup, scoop up the hot pot and add some shrimp, squid and vegetables to eat. This is a taste I will never forget.
This recipe is quick and easy to make, but it tastes great. I like to eat hot pot even in summer and it tastes better in cold weather.
By the way, I would like to introduce to you a dish that can be said to be both strange and familiar from my hometown. It is a duck egg, but not an ordinary duck egg, but a kind of Bach Thao egg.
To make this Bach Thao egg dish, people frequently incubate duck eggs in a mixture of alum, locust, cloves, cinnamon powder, locusts, etc. for 2-3 months or possibly longer to produce this Bach Thao egg dish. The yolk of the egg is gray or dark green when eaten, with a very wonderful meaty taste, and is translucent black when the outer shell of the egg is removed after the incubation time. When eaten, this dish is often seasoned with salt and pepper. Or served with white porridge.
This meal is readily available at every market in my hometown because it is so well-liked. Bach Thao eggs are excellent for your health because they protect the respiratory system, halt bleeding, and efficiently relieve alcohol.
