THE FINE RICE VERMICELLI 🤤🍽💟

Greetings, how are you all today?

I had a fantastic day at work today and ate a dish that my mum made that was delicious. The fine rice vermicelli, do you know? Each region will have various cuisines, however it is one of the specialties of my hometown. I'm going to share my mom's dish recipe with you today.

Ingredients for making cakes

• Plain rice flour: 500 gr
• Filtered water: 300 ml
• Cooking oil: 5 ml
• Hot water – about 70 degrees Celsius: 50 ml
• Chives: 50 gr
• 1 pinch of salt

Ingredients to make roast pork

• Bacon: 400 gr
• Meat seasoning: 1 teaspoon seasoning, ¼ teaspoon five spices or garlic powder
• Skin marinade: 1/2 teaspoon mosquito, 1 slice of lemon

How to make the cake part

  1. Combine salt and rice flour in a bowl. Mix. Cooking oil and filtered water are combined, then the oil is slowly poured into rice flour. To blend, thoroughly stir. Re-knead the dough by hand to make it smooth and lump-free after 5 minutes. To the dough, add 150 cc of hot water. Spend another 5–10 minutes kneading.
  2. Cut the dough into bite-sized pieces. Press the dough into little pieces after placing it in the mold.
  3. Get a big pot of water ready. Put the flour fibers in the steam for three minutes after bringing to a boil. Chives should be washed and chopped into small pieces. Oil is heated in a pan. Pour the cooked chives over the cake after rapidly stirring in the shallots. On a platter, place the cake. Bite-sized portions should be cut. So, inside is a gorgeous cake.

How to make roast pork

  1. To eliminate dirt, wash the meat, leaving whole chunks in a solution of salt, vinegar, and white wine for about 20 minutes.
  2. Place the meat in the pot and add cold water to cover it. Boil. Wait 3-5 minutes for the meat to begin to boil before turning from the heat, giving the pork a quick rinse under cold water, and thoroughly drying it with paper towels.
  3. Skewer the meat's skin with a pointed toothpick. By doing this, the pork belly will get more crispy during the grilling process, adding to the dish's overall deliciousness. On the meat, excluding the skin, equally distribute the five spices and seasoning seeds. Apply a layer of salt equally to the skin before covering it with a slice of lemon. Apply another layer of lemon after the first one has dried. Place the meat in the box and refrigerate it for 6 to 8 hours with the skin side facing up to rest.
  4. Place the meat in the oven with the skin on and roast it for around 40 minutes at 250 degrees Celsius. The golden meat should be taken out right away, allowed to cool for ten minutes, and then sliced into bite-sized pieces.

Recipe for dipping sauce

Sauce for dipping: Using a filter, dissolve sugar in a 2:1 ratio. Add lemon and fish sauce. Add freshly minced chili. The heart of the dish lies in the dipping sauce. It accounts for 50% of the dish's flavor. You can adjust the seasoning level to your family's preferences.

Side dish

You can combine it with spring rolls or any other foods you enjoy eating in addition to roast pork.

We frequently consume some raw veggies with these dishes to enhance the flavor.

Or you might prepare a type of papaya sourdough to serve in addition. If you don't yet know how to create sourdough, follow these instructions.

We should wash the raw papaya fruit after purchasing it, grate it into long, thin fibers, and then soak it in salt water that has been diluted with a few ice cubes to make it white and crispy. After shaving, place the papaya in a bowl, stir in 1 teaspoon of salt, and then squeeze the papaya to remove as much water as possible. This will make the papaya more crispy and flavorful.

The cake phase will therefore be one of the more difficult steps if you are doing it for the first time. You can go to the store and get dry cakes, soak them in boiling water, and then remove them to drain so you can consume them right away.
