Happy Tuesday, dear friends. I share my personal recipe for a chicken consommé with potatoes and short pasta.
INGREDIENTS:
Two large or medium potatoes (about 300 gr in total).
2 liters of chicken broth (which is not so concentrated).
2 cups of short pasta, thimble type.
1 spring onion
Seasonings: pepper, oregano and salt to taste.
3 tablespoons of oil with onoto.
PREPARATION:
In a medium saucepan put the oil on medium heat.
Sauté the chopped chives over that oil.
Add a couple of crushed garlic cloves there.
Place the seasonings to taste there.
Place the pasta on the sofrito and mix.
Pour the chicken broth there.
Cook until the pasta is AL DENTE.
Add the potato (it should be chopped into small squares).
Cover the pot and cook over low heat until the potatoes soften.
Clever. It should be enough for about 4 people. If you accompany it with a wheat arepa stuffed with ham and cheese, you will surely achieve glory
This looks good. Can I join you?
Yeah sure...it is weekend here already.. lol
Please do..
