Today, I’m thrilled to share my attempt at creating a delightful chocolate cake that guarantees smiles with every bite. This is not just a recipe—it’s a special creation I prepared to celebrate the dawn of the New Year. As someone just starting my culinary adventures, I’m sharing this recipe from the perspective of a beginner in the art of cooking. While I’m not an expert in cake baking, I took on this challenge and successfully crafted a dessert that can rival any bakery treat. What makes this recipe unique is its simplicity—you only need a few basic ingredients to create it. So, let’s dive into the process of making this delicious chocolate cake and bring some sweetness to the New Year!

Materials Used.

Sifted wheat flour 100g.
Sugar 125g.
Milk powder 200ml.
Coconut oil 60ml.
1 Tablespoon of butter.
3 Tablespoon of Cocoa powder.
2 crushed cardamom pods.
1 Teaspoon of baking powder.
1/4 Teaspoon of baking soda.
2 Egg.
A pinch of salt.

The cooking process as follows.

Now, let's get started. First, take a suitable baking pan and line it with parchment paper. Then, grease the pan with a little bit of oil and set it aside for later. This will help prevent the cake from sticking while baking.

Next, let’s prepare the batter. In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add a pinch of salt along with the sugar. Whisk them together until well combined. To this mixture, add 60ml of coconut oil, sifted wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix everything thoroughly until you achieve a smooth and consistent batter.

Next, pour the prepared batter into the tray you’ve lined and greased earlier. I’m going to bake this in a rice cooker, but you can use an oven if you prefer. Bake the cake for about 20-30 minutes, then remove it carefully once it’s done. Let it cool before serving.

Now, place a saucepan on the stove and add 200ml of coconut milk. To this, add 3 tablespoons of sugar and stir well. While stirring continuously, add the cocoa powder and cook on low heat until the mixture thickens slightly. Once it reaches the desired consistency, add the butter and mix thoroughly until well combined. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool.

Next, carefully spread the prepared mixture evenly around the cake in a thin layer, ensuring it covers the cake beautifully. Once done, decorate the cake as desired with cashew nuts and fruit pieces to add a touch of elegance and flavor. Your delicious chocolate cake is now ready to serve and impress!
