The filling in the middle is quite unique. It is also high in nutritional value as it is made using corn flour and coconut milk. So, let's see how to prepare this snack in a delicious way.
Materials Used.
Coconut oil for frying.
2 Tablespoons of corn flour.
1 tablespoon of butter.
Coconut milk100ml.
1/4 teaspoon of cardamom.
About 6 slices of sandwich bread.
Sugar 125g.
Water 100ml.
1/2 teaspoon lime juice.
Method of making.
First we get a plastic round shape lid to get the round shape of the bread slices. Now place the lid on the bread slice and cut into a round shape.
Next, we need to prepare the filling. For that, take a pan and put it on the stove, add wheat flour, sugar, coconut milk and butter and mix it well.
When the mixture is cooked well, add cardamom powder to it.
Next, when the mixture thickens, remove it from the heat.
Next we need to prepare the sugar syrup. For that, put a pot on the stove and add sugar water to it and keep it on the stove. Once it becomes syrupy, add lime juice to it and remove from heat.
Next, we cut bread rounds and put the prepared mixture little by little. As shown below.
Next, we fold the bread circle in half.
Next we take a pot again and add coconut oil to it and keep it on the stove. Once the oil is hot, add bread folded in half and fry until golden.
Next we take the fried bread and dip it in the prepared sugar syrup.
