Hello lovely foodies!
It's time for me to share my iftaar table, same like I have been doing the last 17 days...without missing any!
So here we are...today we completed our 18th fasting day for the month of Ramadan! Now we are left with roughly 11-12 days more.
Before going deep into the 18th table, in case you've missed the previous 17 tables, kindly check them out on the below links!

Today was quite special here in Mauritius! The lockdown has been lifted and we are free to move around freely once again...what a feeling!
I even got time to go to my favorite pastry shop and ordered a nice Baked Lime Cheesecake for my iftaar table!
The main events!
My wife prepared this delicious oven baked chicken, potato and mozarella served with some nice French baguette!
And next to the bread is a classic Mauritian dish cooked by my sister in law! It is called Dal pita which is plain dough cooked in lentils.
I ate the whole bowl!
Snacks!
Today we had quite a lot of different fried snacks...
Sweet corn & cheese halfmoon, Potato samosas and Fish risolle from my kitchen!
Then my sister number 5 sent Potato croquettes, Paneer beignet and a stuffed bread with minced beef!
All served with some different chutneys!
Drinks, fruits & dessert!
Moroccan mint tea, Mauritian milk tea , water, apple and pear sparkling juice and fresh homemade passion fruit juice were present on the table to satisfy our thirst!
Cheesecake!!!
This was the cheesecake I ordered from my friend Chef Andre...it was simply super delicious!
Cut couple of pieces out of it and kept the rest for tomorrow!
And on the fruits side, we had some pears, plums and grapes
'The Cherry on the cake' on today's table was this piece of fresh pink pepper honeycomb, received it from a good friend...I will write a detailed post on honey very soon!
Overall it was another super delicious iftaar table with a lot of varieties to choose from and enjoy!
I hope you've enjoyed discovering the 18th iftaar table of my Ramadan series!
Wish you all a great day/evening ahead!
Thanks for the support & love!
