Today I want to share with you how was my experience eating at the hotel evidencia belverde, located in Amora, Portugal. But obviously as the name suggests it is a hotel with different options that you can do in their facilities, either enjoy a lunch, dessert or drinks to cool off, they also have outdoor and indoor pools in case you are looking to swim in warm waters in this winter season and finally it also has a spa where you can relax. So stay with me, I'll share with you my experience in this place and I'm not just talking about the food.

El día de hoy quiero compartirles cómo fue mi experiencia comiendo en el hotel evidencia belverde, localizado en Amora, Portugal. Pero obviamente como el nombre lo indica se trata de un hotel cuenta con diferentes opciones que puedes hacer en sus instalaciones, ya sea disfrutar de un almuerzo, postre o bebidas para refrescarte, también tienen piscinas externas e internas en caso de que estés en busca de nadar en aguas calientes en esta época de invierno y por último también cuenta con un spa donde puedes relajarte. Así que quedarte conmigo, que te compartiré mi experiencia en este lugar y no hablo de solo la gastronomía.
The decoration of this place as we can observe is very unique and also modern, even thanks to this decoration that this place has, it makes you feel like an important executive or well from my perspective, that is how it made me feel, I also think that the decoration is hand in hand with the gastronomy, elegant, luxurious and different, also in the area where you eat you have a bookcase which I think is an excellent idea, you can enjoy your food and if you want while you wait or enjoy the outdoors you can read a book. As for the pool and spa, good in this winter season, this experience is very much appreciated, to relax the muscles and warm up.

La decoración de este lugar como podemos observar es muy única y también moderna, incluso gracias a esta decoración que tiene este lugar, te hace sentir un aire de ejecutivo importante o bueno desde mi perspectiva, fue así que me hizo sentir, también pienso que la decoración está a la mano con la gastronomía, elegante, lujoso y diferente, también en la zona donde comes tienes un librero que me parece una excelente idea, puedes disfrutar de tu comida y si deseas mientras esperas o disfrutas del aire libre puedes leer algún libro. En cuanto a la piscina y el spa, buenos en esta época de invierno, esta experiencia se aprecia demasiado, al lograr relajar los músculos y entrar en calor.
The restaurant has a variety of food that you can enjoy, Italian, Portuguese and seafood; however, I was not very hungry that day so we decided to order something sweet and at the bar something hot and cold to go with our desserts, we chose a chocolate mousse, two scoops of vanilla and chocolate ice cream with caramel topping, as a drink I chose an American coffee which I knew would go hand in hand with this dessert. My partner decided to accompany his chocolate mousse with a pina colada. I'm not entirely sure if the decision was the right one, but this amounted to 21e e in total. The prices are high, but this is common for a restaurant in a 4 star hotel.

El restaurante tiene una variedad de comida que puedes disfrutar, comida italiana, portuguesa y del mar; sin embargo, ese día no estaba con mucho apetito así que decidimos ordenar algo dulce y en el bar algo caliente y frío para acompañar nuestros postres, escogimos un mousse de chocolate, dos bolas de helados vainilla y chocolate con topping de caramelo, de bebida escogí un café americano que sabía que iría de la mano con este postre. Mi pareja decidió acompañar su mousse de chocolate con una piña colada. No estoy del todo segura de si la decisión fue la correcta, pero este sumo 21e e en total. Los precios son elevados, pero es común al tratarse de un restaurante dentro de un hotel de 4 estrellas.
Is it time to talk about the main point of this post, the food was delicious? I liked both desserts very much, I thought it was very good that the caramel was strong and not sweet because it gave a good balance to the ice cream making the dessert not too sweet. As for the chocolate mousse, I thought it was delicious, but it wasn't something impressive, I just liked it and the touch of the chocolate biscuits made this dessert not only creamy but also a bit crunchy.
The drinks, well, I ordered the American coffee and I really didn't like the taste of this coffee at all, it had a burnt taste, however, I won't be too critical because I'm not a big fan of coffee, although I have tried some with a better taste. As for the piña colada my partner didn't like it, she told me that for her taste they put more alcohol than normal; however, when I tried it I liked it a lot, in my personal opinion I didn't find it strong and I know I liked that I felt the touch of alcohol, since many places sell this drink and then it seems like you are drinking a pineapple juice so I give a good point to the piña colada, I drank it without problem plus you felt the pulp of the pineapple knowing that they used the fruit as it should be.

Es momento de hablar del punto principal de este post, ¿la comida fue deliciosa? Ambos postres me gustaron mucho, me pareció muy acertado que el caramelo fuera fuerte y no dulce porque dio un buen balance de los helados haciendo que el postre no fuera muy dulce. En cuanto al mousse de chocolate, me pareció delicioso, pero no fue algo impresionante, simplemente me gustó y el toque de las galletas de chocolate hicieron que este postre fuera no solo cremoso sino también un poco crocante.
Las bebidas, bueno, yo pedí el café americano y la verdad no me gustó para nada el sabor de este café, tenía un sabor a quemado, sin embargo, no seré muy crítica porque no soy muy fan del café, aunque sí he probado algunos con mejor sabor. En cuanto la piña colada mi pareja no le gusto me comento que para su gusto colocaron más alcohol de lo normal; sin embargo, cuando yo lo probé me gusto mucho, en mi opinión personal no me pareció fuerte y sé que me gusto que se sintiera el toque de alcohol, ya que muchos lugares venden esta bebida y después parece que estás bebiendo un jugo de piña así que le doy un buen punto a la piña colada, lo bebí sin problema además que sentías la pulpa de la piña sabiendo que utilizaron la fruta como debe ser.
I was able to partake in this experience thanks to a popular company called odisseias that allows you to buy experiences, be it travel, spa, gastronomy, adrenaline, etc. I had a relaxing experience included in this place and on my own I decided to give the food a try and I would say it was average, but at the same time good, not something I would be crazy to come back to, however, I have to go back to try one of their lunches to change my opinion, as for the relaxing experience that the place offers without a doubt it is something I will repeat without hesitation, the spa, the pool and the customer service are things that are very well done from the moment you enter until you leave the place they make you feel important even if you don't have a room in the hotel they make you feel like a guest and without a doubt that special treatment makes you want to come back to repeat the experience.

Yo logré participar de esta experiencia gracias a una empresa popular llamada odisseias que te permite comprar experiencias, ya sea, viajes, spa, gastronomía, adrenalina, etc. Tenía incluido una experiencia relajante en este lugar y por mi cuenta decidí darle una oportunidad a la comida y pues diría que fue algo medio, pero a la vez buena, no es algo que estaría loca en volver, sin embargo, tengo que volver a probar uno de sus almuerzos capaz cambie mi opinión, en cuanto la experiencia relajante que ofrece el lugar sin duda es algo que repetiré sin dudar, el spa, la piscina y la atención al cliente son cosas que están muy bien logrados desde que entras hasta que sales del lugar te hacen sentir importante incluso si no tienes un cuarto en el hotel te hacen sentir como huéspedes y sin duda ese trato especial te hace querer volver a repetir la experiencia.

Jajajaja lo del café me ha encantado, es algo que creo muy típico de Portugal, toman el café torrefacto extremadamente amargo jajaja no es que sea desconocimiento, seguro tienes mucha razón, es una cuestión cultural. A mi tampoco me gusta el café común por allá xD.
