Have you ever cooked warm goat meat that has just been cut? Yes, it tastes very delicious, right? This time I will share the moment I cooked delicious meat at an event with my family.
Cutting the First Meat
I bought this goat from the farm directly, the cost of one goat is $ 250 if calculated in rupiah, it is around IDR 3,000,000. and one goat has a weight of 24 and 37 kg.
At my place, if it's a matter of meat for an event, it has to be new mutton, not old goat, because the taste will be slightly different from the tongues of those around me
The first time I cut 56 kg of meat into small pieces, this meat was cut directly by a live goat, but I didn't share it because the photo was a bit sensitive.
I cut it with my family and friends at 7.00 am so we can eat together at 11.00 am, here there are 6 people who cut the meat and each has a task, some peel the skin, some cut the bones and slice the meat into small pieces.

Washing And Purifying The Meat
After cutting the meat into small pieces we started to clean it with water so that the meat was clean from blood and other impurities. Seeing that the meat looked like a lot, I made watering cans in two places so that it would not spill and under this place I put banana leaves so that they would not touch the ground directly which caused the meat to dirty again.
The meat that I clean is then taken to the kitchen to be cooked and at the same time preparing other cooking utensils
Pouring Curry Seasoning
After all the meat is ready to be cooked, I prepare the goat curry seasoning and pumpkin fruit to cook with the goat as a companion for this goat curry in general, I also prepare 0.5 kg of chili so that later the goat curry will be slightly spicy and tastes delicious because it is in my blood. the residents taste more spicy they prefer spicy keri than sweet curry.
And for the kitchen section there is already a special cook whose job is to cook for big events and I also pay for this chef, my job is just to slice, clean the meat and bring it to the kitchen but I also help this chef to cook too.
I put the meat into the vessel and stir it so that the spices are evenly distributed then mix all the cooking utensils because I will soon put it on the fire that has been prepared
Section Cooking With Firewood
After everything is done in the section above me and the chef puts the meat on the wood fire, why do I use firewood? because the firewood is the vessel that I use, it is not possible to put it on the gas stove and also the processing time is also a little fast, at the same time it is said that with firewood the taste of the food will be a little more delicious
The time to muddy the meat is about 90 minutes so that the meat feels just right, not too hard and not too soft, this time of certainty is indeed used by this chef and don't forget to put an iron spoon into the goat curry sauce, he said, to cook it faster because the iron spoon is hot will stick to the meat so the cooking process will be faster
Cooking Complete
Everything was ready and I put it in the serving dish then took it to the banquet
but at 11 am I was a bit busy so I couldn't take pictures to share.
