CELEBRATING MY HUSBAND'S NATAL DAY!

Tongits Theme!
What a wonderful day for him. Hmmm, it is his birthday. I greeted him early in the morning and making it to sure that I was the one who greeted him first and no other than me, and even on my birthday he woke me up around 12:00 a.m. at dawn just to be sure he was the one who greeted me a Happy Birthday first. Every once a year, people celebrate their birthdays to remember the day that they were born by their mother and to live in this world full of uncertainties. A cake for him was just a surprise. Why a surprise? He kept on asking me if I had something to give to him or a cake, and I said, “I don’t have something to give to you, period”. But, on his birthday after my end shift, he totally surprised because I ordered a cake for him. Why Tongits themed for my husband? I didn’t say that he was addicted to a Tongits game, if he got bored and had no internet while waiting for me outside if I had a business to do somewhere, he just played this game. Even at night if he is not totally sleepy, he plays this game to make him sleepy just like a sleeping pill. So, a Tongits-themed cake was prepared for him only. Having a birthday without a cake feels like there is missing, right? But today's generation or today's times, people can afford to have a cake, even a 300.00 peso they can have a wonderful and tasty cake to eat. They even customize it if they like to customize just add another amount to achieve the dream cake.
Time to Sing a Happy Birthday and a Surprise at the end of the song!
The kids were so excited to blow out the cake. His friends sang a song for him and that was a Happy Birthday. Everybody was singing also my kids and my friends. He was amazed by a lot of friends, his sister, mother, nieces, and nephews by many surprises for him. A pack of coffee sticks, money, boots, GSM liquor, and many more were the surprises given to him. From what I saw on his face, he was gleaming and he was incredibly surprised by his visitors. He was so happy that his invited person was there and celebrated with us.
Kids Blowing the Candle!
They were excited to blow the candle. Anyhoo birthday here in our house, they were the ones making the blowing of the candle together and not the birthday celebrant, seems like already a practices here in our family.
Foods!
I was the one who led the prayer for blessing the food and mentioned in my prayer and said it loudly my sincere thanks to the people who helped my husband prepare the food. Honestly, I don’t have even a single penny to buy the ingredients for his birthday. I was shocked when we reached home, everybody was very busy preparing for the “pansit” and this would be the last menu to cook. His beloved parents prepared it for him. They prepared spaghetti that was for kids just in case they didn’t like the "pansit" or the other menu. Of course, we do have the native chicken, adobo, humba, sweet and sour fish, pansit, and last we prepared the hanging rice partner for the viand. Soft drinks after eating were also served, and a slice of cake was also fairly distributed after eating as a dessert. After eating, they prepared also a liquor for visitors to drink as part of the celebration.
PS: They were supposedly a free Zumba that was pledged by my mother-in-law for everybody but unfortunately, heavy rain came that was also celebrating with us. My friends and my husband’s visitors were preparing an extra shirt in case they sweat right after the Zumba dance.
