Hello, pretty community of HIVE! As I mentioned in my previous post, I want to share some of my favorite recipes to make at home, this time I bring you The carrot cake!, super exquisite, fluffy and with the special touches of raisins and walnuts (I did not have walnuts this time but I replaced it with peanuts, so it is also a good option or another dried fruit, you will not regret it ...)
I know not everyone likes raisins and they take it out, a lot! But not all of us have the same tastes so even if they take them out I can assure you that you will love this recipe, I hope they make it and then tell me how it turned out! :)
Ingredientes / Ingredients
- 3/4 Taza de Azúcar
- 3/4 Taza de Aceite
- 3 Huevos
- 1 1/2 Taza de Harina de trigo leudante
- 1 Taza de Zanahoria rallada
- 1cda de Bicarbonato
- 1cda de Canela
- Pasas y Nueces o frutos secos al gusto
- 3/4 Cup of Sugar
- 3/4 Cup of Oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 Cup of self-rising wheat flour
- 1 cup of grated carrot
- 1 tbsp of Bicarbonate
- 1 tbsp of Cinnamon
- Raisins and Nuts or dried fruits to taste
Preparación/ Preparation
1.- Precalentar el horno a 180°C, enmantequillar y enharinar el molde para torta.
2.- En un bol batir los huevos junto con el azúcar hasta unir.

2.- In a bowl, beat the eggs together with the sugar until combined.
3.- Agregar el aceite y mezclar bien.
3.- Add the oil and mix well.
4.- Incorporar la zanahoria y mezclar.
4.- Add the carrot and mix.
5.- Mezclar la harina, el bicarbonato y la canela.
6.- Agregar los ingredientes secos a la mezcla húmeda, con movimientos envolventes hasta que quede sin grumos.
5.- Mix the flour, bicarbonate and cinnamon.
6.- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, with enveloping movements until it is without lumps.
7.- Agregar pasas y nueces o frutos secos (yo agregue en esta oportunidad maní) y Mezclar.
7.- Add raisins and nuts or dried fruits (I add peanuts this time) and Mix.
8.- Vierte la mezcla en el molde y hornear por 35min o hasta que esté dorada y al pinchar con un palillo de madera salga limpio.
8.- Pour the mixture into the mold and bake for 35min or until golden brown and when you click with a wooden toothpick, it comes out clean.

Nota:
Recuerda que todos los hornos son diferentes así que te recomiendo que la revises a los 30min con el palillo, puede durar un poquito menos o un poquito mas dependiendo de tu horno, yo uso horno a gas.

Remember that all ovens are different so I recommend that you check it after 30 minutes with a toothpick, it may last a little less or a little longer depending on your oven, I use a gas oven.
