Hello community of ¡HIVE! Today I want to share with you a classic recipe but super rich and versatile, I love the cake with that intense orange flavor, but if you are one of that little one percentage that do not like orange cake because you will love this recipe and it is just as rich and fluffy, since you can substitute orange juice for milk or water ... They will wonder with water? Well YES! At the end of the recipe I leave you some TIPS in case you decide to modify it so that it is delicious.
Ingredientes / Ingredients
- 500gr de Harina de trigo leudante
- 500gr de Azúcar
- 250gr de Mantequilla
- 6 Huevos
- 500ml de jugo de naranja
- 1cda de vainilla
- 1cda de polvo de hornear
- Ralladura de naranja al gusto
- 500gr of self-rising wheat flour
- 500gr of Sugar
- 250gr of Butter
- 6 Eggs
- 500ml of orange juice
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp of baking powder
- Orange zest to taste
Preparación/ Preparation
1.- Precalentar el horno a 180°C, enmantequillar y enharinar el molde para torta.
2.- En un bol batir mantequilla junto con el azúcar.
1.- Preheat the oven to 180°C, butter and flour the cake pan.
2.- In a bowl, beat the butter with the sugar.
3.- Agregar uno a uno los huevos e ir batiendo.
3.- Add the eggs one by one and beat.
4.- Incorporar la vainilla y la ralladura de naranja.
4.- Add the vanilla and the orange zest.
5.- Aparte mezclar la harina, con el polvo de hornear.
6.- Agregar poco a poco la harina e intercala con el jugo realizando movimientos envolventes hasta que quede sin grumos.
5.- Apart mix the flour with the baking powder.
6.- Add the flour little by little and intersperse with the juice making enveloping movements until it is without lumps.
7.- Vierte la mezcla en el molde y hornear por 40min o hasta que esté dorada y al pinchar con un palillo de madera salga limpio.
7.- Pour the mixture into the mold and bake for 40min or until golden brown and when prodded with a wooden toothpick it comes out clean.
Tips
- Si quieres un sabor a naranja menos intenso solo colócale la ralladura y sustituyes el jugo por la leche.
- Si no te gusta la naranja puedes sustituir por ralladura de limón o solo agregar vainilla sin ralladura.
- Si deseas hacerla con agua te recomiendo agregar más vainilla de la inicial para que mantenga el sabor.

Tips
- If you want a less intense orange flavor, just add the zest and substitute the juice for the milk.
- If you don't like orange, you can substitute lemon zest or just add vanilla without zest.
- If you want to make it with water, I recommend adding more vanilla than the initial one so that it maintains the flavor.
