Immune Booster And Delicious Juice To Make At Home

in Foodies Bee Hive4 years ago (edited)

Morning dear Hivers.

A friend once told me about a juice she loved to drink in the mornings because it not only made her feel very energetic, but she also loved the taste. Two days ago I made it for the first time at home, so I would like to share it with you today.

ORANGE, CARROT AND BEET JUICE

A mix of nutrients, benefits, and the best of it... Sugar-free.

Let's talk about the properties of each ingredient...

  • Oranges: a rich source of vitamin C, potassium, and fiber. It helps you to take care of your bones, blood pressure, skin and it's an aid to prevent arthritis.
  • Carrots: a source of Vitamin A or Beta Carotene, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Iron, Potassium, Phosphorus and Calcium that will help you to prevent cataracts in the eyes, treat anemia and keep your immune system alert against any threat.
  • Beets: they can provide us with vitamin C, B, potassium, magnesium, iron, iodine, and folic acid. They are responsible for boosting your energy after taking this delicious juice.

The process to make this juice is pretty simple, the hardest work will be to buy the freshest oranges, carrots, and beets. After this, you will only need a blender as a must and a juicer for oranges only if you have it.

After blending the orange juice with the vegetables you can decide if you want to strain it or not, in my case I don't but it's a decision that depends on your tastes.

I gave my grandmother a try, she was the only one in the family who wanted to give it a try and she loved it just as I did. This is because usually when we hear about juices we immediately think of commercial brands with a lot of preservatives and artificial sugars, we don't think that this way there are few nutrients that they provide us with, and probably the damage they cause us is greater than the benefits. This juice does not need sugar since all the ingredients used contain a natural sweetness ideal to make it delicious, however, I have read that you can add honey if you want it sweeter.

Thank you so much for reading, voting, or share your thoughts with me.

Best regards.
