Interesting flavour combos there but I suspect it works a treat.
I've been making tuna fritters which have been delicious
- can of white beans, mashed with a fork
- can of tuna
- a cheese slice finely chopped
- an egg
- 2 tbsp flour
- seasoning of choice - salt and pepper, parsley, whatever
Mix together and shape into small patties. Roll in flour and fry til golden on both sides.
Serve with salad or in bread. Bloody delish and cheap.
Waaaá, you mean that kinda sweet british-type beans? I used to eat those a lot back in London, but could never find them in my hometown in cans. Maybe I can find a recipe for those? In Brazil we generally eat beans as a brazillian feijoada, cooked in a pressure pan.
