Shut up and eat! #19 - Stuffed squids

Rain is back and the cold is almost here. That's when I spend more time at home and go through my mother's old recipe books. 🍽📖

A chuva está de volta e o frio a caminho. Nesta fase do ano, passo mais tempo em casa e folheio os livros de receitas antigos da minha mãe. 🍽📖


Ingredients / Ingredientes:

4 large squids (not this time)4 lulas grandes (não foi o caso)
4 ham slices4 fatias de fiambre
4 cheese slices4 fatias de queijo
1dl of cream1dl de natas
buttermanteiga
saltsal
1 lemon1 limão

1 - Wash the squids carefully and dry them well.

1 - Lavar as lulas cuidadosamente e secá-las bem.

2 - Place the ham and cheese inside the squid and close using a cocktail stick or similar.

2 - Meter o fiambre e o queijo dentro da lula e fechar com um palito.

3 - Grill the squids, adding butter a few times.

3 - Grelhar as lulas, adicionando manteiga algumas vezes.

4 - Place the squids in a tray, season with salt, butter and add the creams. Almost done... oven for about 30min (it depends on the squids size) and that's it.

4 - Dispôr as lulas numa travessa, temperar com sal, manteiga e regar com as natas. Quase pronto... forno aproximadamente 30 min (depende to tamanho das lulas) e está feito.

5 - Final result of the squids. Then serve with whatever you like. Rice is a good option but I prefer boiled potatoes and green salad.

5 - Resultado final das lulas. A seguir serve com o que gostares mais. Arroz é uma boa opção mas eu preferi batatas cozidas e salada.

What about the lemon?
- It was not that relevant, really. It was just to add a slice in the plate but I forgot about it.
