Hello everyone!
It’s me, Rodaliza 💚 Today I would like to share how to cook a filipino style beef afritada with egg. With the flavorful tomato sauce, tender beef and vegetables like bell pepper, potatos, carrots and onion, this dish was loved by some Filipinos like me and is a favorite menu for lunch and dinner time.
Here’s the recipe for Beef Afritada:
- 2 cloves Garlic chopped
- 5 pieces Onion Medium size chopped
- 1/2 kilo Beef
- 1 cup beef stock
- 2 pieces Potato chopped
- 2 pieces Carrots chopped
- 2 pieces bell pepper sliced
- 5 pieces boiled eggs
- 1 pouch Tomato Sauce 250g
- 1/2 Cheese
Procedures:
Step 1 - Saute Garlic and Onion in cooking oil until golden brown.
Step 2 - Add Beef and stir.
Step 3 - Add Tomato Sauce 250g and stir.
Step 4 - Add the beef stock to add more beef flavor to the sauce.
Step 5 - Add Potatos and Carrots and cover.
Step 6 - Add boiled egg and cheese then cover until the sauce thickens.
Step 7 - Once the sauce thickens and becomes brown add the bell pepper.
Step 8 - Serve and place in a bowl.
