- 2 pcs white onion
- 5 cloves garlic crushed

How to Cook Beef Pares:
Step 1 - In a Pressure cooker, saute beef cubes in an oil. This will only take 5 minutes to slightly cook.
Step 2 - Remove the slightly cooked beef.
Step 3 - Set aside the beef and place in a bowl.
Step 4 - In a Pressure Cooker, saute garlic, onion, ginger and star anise.
Step 5 - Add the slightly cooked beef into a pressure cooker once onion is softens and the garlic is golden brown.
Step 6 - Add soy sauce and stir well.
Step 7 - Add Knorr Beef cubes to give a solid beef flavor.
Step 8 - Add 5 tablespoon of brown sugar and stir. This to add sweetness to the sauce.
Step 9 - Add 3 cups of hot water and let it boil.
Step 10 - Cover the pressure cooker and let it boil for 30 minutes until the beef becomes tender.

Beef Pares is best served in a fried rice or sinangag in Filipino term. It is also good in cooked noodles, it taste very flavorful and delicious. Beef are easier to cook when using a pressure cook, as the beef can tenderise quickly.
