Hi foodies bee hive fam! Let me share these mouth-watering dishes that we ate together with our squad. Our motto for this feast is "Good food is good mood".

Pakbet, sauteed vegetables like bitter gourd, string beans, okra, squash and eggplant. Most of the times it has pork and small fish or what be call "alamang".
This is what alamang looks like:
Grilled Squid with steamed water spinach and pickled papaya as side dishes, and soy sauce to taste.

Our most favorite "Lumpiang Shanghai (ground pork spring rolls)" together with pickled papaya and sweet chili sauce. Perfect!
Crispy Pata (Pork Hock or Leg), it was really crispy and yummy specially if dipped in a spicy soy sauce and some people like it with pickled papaya.
Caldereta (Pork or Beef Stew), it differs from other stew is that the meat used here is mostly the bony parts. It has potato and carrots and lots of cheese.
Pansit Guisado, my daughters' all time favorite.
Kare-kare, it is also a stew but has peanut butter in its sauce but no tomato sauce. Pork or Beef can be used as main meat and it has lots of blanched vegetables such as Pechay, String beans, eggplant and banana bell. It was usually eaten with the sauteed/cooked alamang.
This is our squad from less to many blessings, we made it! Through thick and thin indeed.
We had a buko pandan dessert but we didn't have the chance to take a photo because one of my daughters is having tantrums, it happens. At unexpected time, sometimes but it's okay. Kodus to all parents who goes out with children and have lots of patience.
