I woke up feeling so hot this morning, it was 5 a.m., and nope, I don't have a fever. There's a light rain, as I heard it, so I thought to myself, that's the reason why it's hot. I even planned that I'll shower earlier because for sure this rain will just make the heat intense later. Just like what always happened in the past weeks. But then, the light rain turned into a heavy one accompanied by a strong wind. It didn't last long, though. As the weather changed, I already got out of my bed, prepared our breakfast, and did some chores too. ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
It's already 8:41 am, and I think Mr. Sunny's not planning to show up today, but it could change. The weather today is really so unpredictable, aigooo. I check on Mama downstairs, and she just got out on her bed. But there's someone there who's not ready yet to get out on the bed. It's Mona, and look how comfortable he is sleeping on Mama's bed. Lol. So yeah, Mom's bed is not just hers but also for her cats, dogs, and even chickens. They are all clean, the only problem is their furs are all over it.
On the other hand, here's our cat Wiswis and Ikay. Ikay is Wiswis's child, by the way, but she's older now and has given birth a lot of times. Wiswis is already pregnant, and I think Ikay too is already pregnant. It's not that too noticeable because Ikay is really a big cat, and she's kind of chubby. And actually, Toktok is already pregnant too, she's Mommy D's cat. We have three pregnant adult cats at the moment. Guess we'll have to get ready again for the babies to come in this household. (≧▽≦)
Fast forward, I went to the market with Mama, as usual, to buy ingredients for today's lunch. Mommy F wants fish again. We've been having fish for days now, and I'm not complaining though, ehe. But seriously, I really love to buy Porky too, but aigoooo, it is still too expensive. When we checked yesterday, it cost 460 pesos per kilo. That's without the bones, the liempo and pork chop have different prices. They have a cheaper one that costs 280 pesos per kilo, but you can't find any meat in it because it's almost all just a bone. Lol. While chicken is still the same in price, 230 pesos per kilo. Very affordable. But we'll buy fish today.
This is the fish that we bought, it's a big fish actually and it is sooooooo fat! I bought a kilo of it and it's really cheap, 180 per kilo. After seeing how fatty it is, I suggested to the oldies to make a soup out of it with lots of tomatoes. They agreed to it of course and here it is. It looks so plain no? But man, it's really flavorful. We love it! I only used tomatoes, onion, garlic, salt to taste, long chili and MSG. While half of the fish was cooked into a different recipe, it's called Sinaing sa Asin na Isda (人 •͈ᴗ•͈).
Ah, I also bought a homecooked vegetable dish on our way home which I think will goes well with our dish today. It's a cooked vegetable dish called Humbang Langka or Jackfruit Humba. It's been a long time since we last had it, and we got lucky when Mama's friend Ka Donie showed up with her baskets. She doesn't have her own place to sell her cooked vegetable dishes, so she just goes to the wet market and stays there while waiting for customers. Those who buy fish and meat are usually her buyers there, aside from the fish and meat sellers. And just like that, I had a hearty lunch with my oldies. We all enjoyed it. ┏(＾0＾)┛
And here's a bonus photo, I noticed the flowers of Mom's squash plants and it is so big. Look at it, I have big hands, but it's almost the size of my palm now. Its color is so vibrant that it looks so pretty in there. It makes our backyard look more lively.

Ay true? You never see it in your area? It's really good, I love to eat it paired with fish. I'm not really sure how to make jackfruit humba but I think it's just the ginataan na nilagyan ng sugar and yong laurel like sa adobo. And yep ginataang langka is so good lalo if it is super ma-gata. UwU.
Yeah, i'm used to it now. We sleep early din kasi, like 7:30 is the earliest and 10 pm ang pinaka late. Hehe
