Hello my dear Hive friends,
Jackfruit is a tropical tree. It is rich with nutrients such as Carbohydrates, proteins,vitamins, minarals, dietary fibre and phytochemicals .
Today my presentation is how to prepare Jackfruit Curry.
Ingredients
400 grJackfruit
1/4 B.Onion chopped
1 green chilli chopped
1 clove garlic chopped
20 nos of curry leaves
2 pieces of pandon leaves
1/2 tea spoon curry powder
Dash of tumaric
1/4 tea spoon dil seed
1/4 tea spoon mustard cream
3/4 tea spoon salt.
200 ml thin coconut milk
100 ml thick coconut milk
3 table spoons of oil
5 nos dry chillies
Method
When you open a Jackfruit you will find bulbs. Then you remove the seeds from the bulbs. Both bulbs and seeds are taken to use for the curry after cleaning . Now take the bulbs and tear in strips. Clean and cut the seeds.
Take a pan and put the seeds add little bit salt pour water and boil it.
Add the Jack bulbs to the same pan and add B.Onion, green chillies, curry leaves, pandon leaves and chopped garlic.
Now add curry powder, tumaric, mustard cream, dil seed and salt.
Add thin coconut milk and mix it well and keep it on the fire.
When the gravy is redcued add thick coconut milk and mix.
After few minutes take it down and transfer to a another bowl.
Take a pan and keep it on fire and pour oil.when the oil is heating add pieces of dry chillies and balance curry leaves.
Finally add the Jackfruit Curry to the pan and mix.
Now curry is ready to serve. Transfer it to a curry bowl and send it to the table.
