Noodle lidi is a traditional snack made from flour and mixed with baking powder that is formed into long sticks. But after being boiled it will be soft and cooked by adding fine spices, so that the noodles are even more delicious, noodle lida can also be cooked by pouring soup, which is known as mi caluek in my area,
But this time I will cook fried lidi noodles without any sauce, but next time I will cook lidi noodles with sauce, don't worry guys hehehe
Earlier I planned to cook caluek lidi noodles but because I had a family event outside the house, I didn't have time to cook caluek lidi noodles, this is it, this is also very delicious in my opinion.
Okay, I will share the recipe with all of you, follow me and see the steps I use to make these stick noodles, friends.
Materials used
1/4 cabbage
4 candlenuts
3 cloves of garlic
8 red chilies
8 cloves of shallots
1 tbsp peanuts
1/2 tomato
1 stalk of spring onion
1 stalk of celery
Manufacturing procedure
Boil the stick noodles in boiling water for approximately 20 minutes until the noodles are soft. Here I only use half a pack of stick noodles, because if I use one pack it will be too much for us.
While waiting for the stick noodles to cook, I blended the noodle seasoning using a blender until it was really smooth.
Cut the cabbage according to taste, also cut the tomatoes, spring onions and celery leaves.
Once the noodles is cooked, remove and drain, then sauté the ground spices using a little cooking oil, then sauté until fragrant.
After the spices are cooked, add the cabbage and cook until half cooked, then add the noodles, and add a little salt, soy sauce, sauce, and mushroom stock. Cook until the noodles are perfectly cooked, until the texture of the noodles is really soft,Finally, add the spring onions and celery leaves.
RESULTS
My homemade stick noodles are ready to be enjoyed, I added red crackers and cucumber on top to make it even more delicious when enjoyed. The texture of the noodles is just right, not too soft and not too hard, the seasoning is just right, but it's not spicy enough, I forgot to add the cayenne pepper, hehe, but if it was a little spicier, it would taste even better, because basically, eating noodles wouldn't taste good if it wasn't spicy, right?
When I enjoy stick noodles, I always remember the snacks when I was in elementary school, junior high school, and high school, snacks in the school canteen, and I never missed buying stick noodles, some with soup, some like this without soup, but in my opinion, I prefer stick noodles with soup, or we usually call them caluek noodles hehheeh..Next time I will try to make caluek noodles because I remember the snacks in my school canteen,
