Milk Pudding with Caramel Sauce

Consuming sweet foods is not always bad as long as you don't overdo it. Sweet foods also have their own advantages, one of which is that they can improve someone's mood and make someone look happy, hehhee.

Hello all my hivers, how are you? I hope your days are always pleasant. In my area the weather has been very hot these past few days, with hot weather like this I really want to enjoy sweet foods like milk pudding, I want to add caramel sauce to my milk pudding, this is the first time I have added caramel sauce to my milk pudding. I think the taste must be even more delicious and sweet, because from the start I wanted to eat something sweet, let's make it and I will share this pudding recipe for those of you who love sweet foods.



The ingredients I use for milk pudding

1 sachet agar - flavorless agar
3 tablespoons of white sugar
2 glasses of liquid milk
1 small sachet of vanilla powder


Note:For liquid milk, you can use any brand, this time I used UHT milk, the Milku brand, which has an original taste, it just so happens that the milk I had in my refrigerator was just that.

Ingredients for making caramel sauce

200 grams of white sugar
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
Water as hot as you like



  • First of all, I will cook milk pudding first, by mixing agar-agar powder, liquid milk and sugar.

  • Then stir as usual, add one sachet of vanilla powder to the pudding, but I think I forgot to take a photo when I added the vanilla powder, hehhee, sorry guys.

  • Keep stirring until the pudding bubbles like this, then turn off the stove.

  • Take a container or mold for the pudding, then set the pudding aside until it is completely cold and solid.

Let's continue making the caramel sauce, friends.


  • Put the sugar in the pan, cook until the sugar turns into caramel, here you don't need to stir the caramel, just shake the pan like this

  • Add a little water, make sure the water is hot, then add the cornstarch solution, cook again until the caramel thickens.

  • Once the caramel is cooked, make sure the milk pudding is completely cold and solid before pouring on the sauce.

Mmmmm it tastes really delicious and the sweetness is just right according to my wishes, I immediately put it in the refrigerator before I enjoyed it, because eaten cold it tastes more delicious, it really suits the weather where I am now which is summer and this is also very much liked by my child and mother, my child really likes sweet food, but as a mother I also always limit my child from consuming sweet food, and I also very rarely cook sweet food like this, unless I really want to eat sweet food like now.
