As you know, Foodie is one of the most fascinating topics for Hiver because there is a wide variety of delicious food in my country as well as in other countries. On a holiday in 2018, I had the opportunity to visit DaLat city. It’s a romantic city located in the south of VietNam. We spent 5 days and 4 nights sightseeing and exploring this place. After this trip, I was impressed by the food there. In this blog, I will lead you to Dalat city to fully enjoy the culinary journey tour as I used to be..
1. Ba Toa beef hot pot 😋
This is one of the famous hot pot that we enjoyed the first time we arrived. we decided to go to Aba Toa restaurant on Hoang Dieu street to enjoy this soup. Thick, big, long and tender slices of beef, the tendons, tails, brisket, brisket and rich broth are its highlights. I will never forget the taste even though I ate about 3 years ago.
2. “Căn” cake.😁
This cake is made from glutinous rice flour, quail eggs, onions, and shrimp. People will put all of this material into a scorched clay mold. Especially cake not fried in oil. That's why it is extremely crispy outside and tender, chewy inside. You can enjoy it with a small sweet spicy fish sauce for more deliciousness.
3. Hot pot with chicken and clove basil leaf😋
This is another famous hot pot I would like to share with you. Chicken is the main ingredient but will be combined with basil leaves, a key to creating an impressive flavor for this soup. Normally, people eat with rice noodles and mushrooms to add flavor to food.
4. Stuffed snail with pork😁
I am a person who loves eating snails a lot, so when we came to this city, I looked for a restaurant famous for escargot. Snails are stuffed with minced pork and lemongrass and then steamed. Eating hot with sour and sour sauce will be more delicious. Afterwards, I understood why this food is one of the favorite foods of both locals and tourists. If you have a chance to visit this city, don’t forget to enjoy this food!!!
5. BBQ Seafood😜
As a fan of seafood and meat, it is definitely impossible to miss going to Chu restaurant to enjoy a variety of seafood in Da Lat city. With the chilly weather, what could be better than sitting by the oven and enjoying your favorite dishes like shrimp, chicken, beef,...
6. Eminent frog porridge😆
According to my friend's review, we went to a very crowded restaurant. This is my first time enjoying Eminent frog porridge. Actually, I don't like porridge very much but I am intrigued by frog meat. They they are carefully prepared, there is no fishy smell and the meat is very tender.
In Dalat city, We not only enjoyed many famous foods here but also we visited a lot of beautiful places. I think this is a very special trip that I can get rid of lots of stress. I would love to share my foodie journey with all of you. Hopefully, If anyone in our Hiver community has a chance to visit DaLat city you can get a menu for your trip.

toàn đồ ăn ngon không ak, chị đi Đà Lạt hai lần, mà chắc hồi đó không biết chọn địa điểm ăn uống nên không mấy ấn tượng với đồ ăn ở đây, chỉ nhớ cái thời tiết se lạnh thôi
