Spicy Soya Sauce Fish | Malaysian Chinese Style

It is a delicious fusion of Chinese and Malay cuisines that come together well in this spicy dish. It goes along with any non-spicy side dish or just plain white rice as well.

Spicy Soya Sauce Fish Fillet Ingredients:

To marinate and fry Fish Fillet:

  • 800 gm fish cubes
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper powder
  • 2 tsp Corn Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Water

For further cooking:

  • Oil
  • 2 inch Ginger (cut into strips)
  • 6 crushed Bird's Eye Chillies
  • 4 cloves chopped Garlic
  • 3 Big Onions (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Dark Soya Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Light Soya Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 and 1/2 cups Water
  • 1 chopped Tomato (discard seeds)
  • 2 sliced Big Red Chillies
