¡Hola amigos de Hive!. En esta oportunidad quiero presentarles mi receta de torta de vainilla, también conocida como biscocho o ponqué. Esta torta es la preferida de mi esposo y es ideal para acompañarla con un buen café. Es una merienda perfecta para niños y adultos.
Hello Hive friends!. This time I want to present my recipe for vanilla cake, also known as biscocho or ponqué. This cake is my husband's favorite and is ideal to accompany it with a good coffee. It is a perfect snack for children and adults.
Ingredientes:
• 250 g de mantequilla.
• 2 tazas de azúcar.
• 1 cucharada de vainilla
• 1 taza de leche.
• 5 huevos grandes (separados).
• 1/2 taza de harina leudante (cernida).
• 1/2 cucharadita de polvo de hornear.
Ingredients:
• 250 g of butter.
• 2 cups of sugar.
• 1 spoon of vanilla
• 1 cup of milk.
• 5 large eggs (separated).
• 1/2 cup of leavening flour (sifted).
• 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.
Paso 1
En un recipiente agregamos la mantequilla y batimos hasta que se ponga pálida, agregamos el azúcar y mezclamos bien.

In a bowl add the butter and beat until pale, add the sugar and mix well.

Luego agregamos las yemas una a una hasta completarlas todas, para después agregar la vainilla y la leche.

Then we add the yolks one by one until they are all complete, and then add the vanilla and milk.

Continuamos, agregando la harina previamente cernida hasta obtener una mezcla homogénea.

Continue adding the previously sifted flour until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Batimos las claras a punto de nieve y las incorporamos de forma envolvente a la mezcla..

We beat the egg whites until stiff and incorporate them in an enveloping way into the mixture.
Paso 5
Pasamos nuestra preparación a un molde previamente engrasado y enharinado, le damos unos golpecitos y llevamos al horno a 170ºc aproximadamente por 15 minutos, hasta que al introducir un palito de madera este salga seco. Luego de que esté lista, dejar reposar por lo menos 15 minutos antes de desmoldar.

We pass our preparation to the previously greased and floured mold, give it a few taps and take it to the oven at 170c for approximately 15 minutes, until when inserting a wooden stick it comes out dry. After it's ready, let it rest for at least 15 minutes before unmolding.
Consejos:
• Los ingredientes deben estar a temperatura ambiente.
• Las claras deben batirse al momento en que se vayan a incorporar a la preparación, ya que, pueden perder firmeza.
• El horno debe estar precalentado.
• Deja reposar por lo menos 15 minutos antes de desmoldar.
Advice:
• Ingredients must be at room temperature.
• The egg whites must be beaten at the time they are to be incorporated into the preparation, since they can lose firmness.
• The oven must be preheated.
• Let stand for at least 15 minutes before unmolding.
