500gr guayabas
1 taza de azúcar
Nota: Esta receta también la podemos condimentar a nuestro gusto con especies (canela, clavos, anís, entre otros)
Paso 1
Primero lavamos bien nuestras guayabas, las colocamos en una olla y le echamos agua hasta que se cubran por completas luego le colocamos 2 cucharadas de azúcar y llevamos al fuego.
Una vez que veamos que nuestras guayabas estén sancochadas.
Paso 2
La sacamos y el agua que nos queda en la olla la colaremos y nuevamente la llevamos al fuego sin las guayabas, Le agregamos el restante de azúcar y esperamos que merme y espese nuestra mezcla así estará lista para consumir solo debemos dejar que se repose unos minutos y ya.

Note: We can also season this recipe to our liking with spices (cinnamon, cloves, anise, among others)
Step 1
First we wash our guavas well, place them in a pot and add water until they are completely covered, then we add 2 tablespoons of sugar and bring to the fire.
Once we see that our guavas are parboiled.
Step 2
We take it out and the water that we have left in the pot we will strain it and again we take it to the fire without the guavas, we add the remaining sugar and we hope that it diminishes and thickens our mixture so it will be ready to consume, we just have to let it rest for a few minutes and that's it.
In this case, I accompanied it with a delicious bread, and how would you enjoy it?
