Hello, wonderful people of this amazing community. How are you today? It's been a while since I posted my last blog in this community. I hope you are feeling great and doing great everyone.
Visiting Baguio City was one of the turning points that I made this year. And to bring something special for my family, I bought souvenirs and strawberries back home. Strawberry fruits are very famous in Baguio City and I want that my family could taste its flavor just like me even when they do not go with me.
When we arrived at the airport, we carefully placed the strawberry in a separate bag yet we notice that some were rotten already though its a fresh picked in La, Trinidad. We were worried if it could still be eaten when we arrive in Cebu. 😔😌😌
We sort everything, some were thrown in the trash bags and some were placed in a separate plastic bags for damaged one but still be possible for cooking.
When we arrived in Cebu, the first thing I did was to checked again the strawberries. And to my dismay, there were only few left which was not damaged. I was so sad with what happened to the strawberries. Maybe they're stress of the travel from Baguio City to Cebu.
So to save the strawberries, I decided to make a homemade strawberry jam from the slightly damaged fruits. I checked the ingredients on Youtube and the process in making it.
Ingredients needed:
1/2 kilo strawberry sliced into small pieces
1/2 kilo brown sugar (as needed)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Steps in making the Strawberry Jam:
🍓Prepare all the needed ingredients and materials used for cooking.
🍓Washed all the strawberry before slicing.
🍓Sliced the strawberry into tiny pieces and placed on a large bowl.
🍓Combined all the ingredients on a large cooking pan.
🍓Crush the strawberry slowly, then pour the 1/2 kilo sugar and squeezed lemon juice to a large bowl.
🍓Bring the measure to a large cooking pan. Slowly stir the pan on a low heat until the strawberry will become smooth and sugar is dissolve.
🍓Continue stirring until the mixture is smooth and jelly-looked already.
🍓Transfer the jam into a bowl or jars. Serve it with bread to your family.
🍓Enjoy eating!
That's all for my homemade Strawberry Jam. I saved all the strawberries and my family was enjoying eating the jam so much. You can make your own recipe too!
Have a nice day everyone 😊

Thats sad, maybe coz of too much heat and also if nakabalot sya, the sweat may be triggered it too. Still, may nasayang man, at least may na save pa rin. Uwu. That jam looks good. I imagine putting it in a bun or maybe in a slice bread, wahhhh perfect non 🤤🤤
That look so good, I’d love to try making this myself someday😋😋
